Very large beautiful work by W. Helfferich (XIX-XX) The work is called "Cows on the forest river". The colors are still lifelike. Beautiful blue and beautiful green. The painting has not had any repairs and is in very good condition. Of course the oil paint has crackle, but that's how it should be for an antique painting. The painting measures 90 x 72 cm and is therefore a very large painting. The original frame measures 115 x 82 cm and is also in very good condition. Considering the size of the work, it is best to pick it up in Riemst (Tongeren) I suspect it can also be shipped. This in consultation with the customer.
