W & H Bracket Clock

A late 19th century Winterhalder & Hofmeier Bracket clock. 8-day time and strike movement with a Brass dial, Silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals, cast Brass spandrels and subsidiary Slow/Fast indicator dial. Carved Oak case with pediment crest and three finials over a single door with arched glass, on a molded base with carved detail and turned feet. Older refinishing with minor wear, running when cataloged. 17 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $300-500
