Signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph of Wayne standing in a full length pose, wearing a Stetson hat, in a friendly group pose alongside four women and another gentleman. Signed by Wayne in black ink to the image, 'Anita - Camera men don't have me looking like this anymore. How about you? John Wayne' and dated 1975 in his hand. The signature and inscription partially run across a darker area of the image although remain completely legible. Annotated to the verso in ink 'This is me - Anita Gottlieb Summer', evidently the lady to whom the photograph was inscribed and undoubtedly also one of the four ladies in the image. Some slight traces of former mounting to the verso and a few minor corner creases, otherwise VG £200-300
