W.C. Anderson Jeweled Star Cut Glass Ice Cream Tray

American Brilliant cut glass ice cream tray. This tray is cut in the Jeweled Star pattern designed by W.C. Anderson for the American Cut Glass Company. Anderson was the top designer for the Libbey Glass Company before opening his own cutting house. This pattern was patented on March 8, 1904. This design has a band of plain button hobstars and the center of the tray is cut with a six point star filled with a cluster of hobstars. This tray is depicted on page 65 of the ACGA book "Chain of Evidence".
