Florence, 14th century.
Wood and stucco, gilt. Decorated with trailing flowers, rosettes and reserves. The front with three female figures seated on thrones. Hinged cover, forged iron handles on the sides. The inside lined with beige linen. Lock bolt missing. Various losses in the gilding, worming, crack in the cover, retouches, and fillings.
