WEDGWOOD TURQUOISE-TEAL DIP JASPERWARE TEAPOT AND COVER AND A SIMILAR TEACUP AND SAUCER circa 1875-1880, impressed uppercase marks, potter's mustache mark and cyphers, the teapot of globular form with foliate spout and angular handle, the slightly domed cover with pierced button finial, the sides applied in white relief with a classical figure before a brazier or an amatory altar, h: 4 3/4 x l: 9 in.; the bell-shaped teacup with pinched angular handle, similarly sprigged, the saucer with a crisp band of acanthus stiff leaf-tips, dia: 5 1/2 in.
