Publisher:EC [Indicia: Fables Publishing Co., Inc.]

Fine- (5.5). Nice copy, clean and flat. Touch of rust to bottom staple with small rust spot to cover, several fox marks to top edge, bottom corner creased. White to off-white pages. Ray Bradbury adaptation ("The Flying Machine" by Krigstein).

"Krigstein's... second EC assignment was his powerful adaptation of Ray Bradbury's 'The Flying Machine. His calligraphic Eastern-influenced graphics were perfectly suited to this Bradbury classic. As Bhob Stewart notes, it was hard to believe it was adapted from a work of prose: 'There is an almost perfect affinity between writer and artist; Krigstein has depicted the emotions and moods that Bradbury created with words.'" — Greg Sadowski, B. Krigstein. Fantagraphics, 2002, p. 162.

A limited edition of 150 softcover and 15 hardcover catalogues is available. 400 lots, fully illustrated. Fun reference, great keepsake. Softcover $30, deluxe hardcover with dust jacket and limitation plate $200. Ten of the 15 hardcovers are pre-ordered and the rest will go quickly, so reserve yours now. To order, contact ivan@pbagalleries.com.
