Chinese. A gilt bronze vase with hand chased foliate decoration surrounding applied well cast guardian lions, butterflies, floral bouquet landscapes to the main body and surmounting a band of flowers and cloud motifs. Signs of a previousbronze plaque to underside. Approx: h. 14", w. 9".
