WELLES ORSON: (1915-1985) American Actor & Film Director, Academy Award winner. An excellent vintage signed 9 x 6.5 photograph of Welles, the unusual image showing Welles seated in a half-length pose alongside friends and musicians at a Viennese restaurant. Stamped to the verso by Foto Choutka, photographer, Vienna. Signed by Welles in blue ink to a clear and attractive small area of the image. The present image was taken during the time of the filming of The Third Man, 1949, widely considered one of the best British films of all time. VG
