WESTON, EDWARD (1886-1958) [Artichoke, Halved,
1930]. Vintage gelatin silver print dry-mounted to thin buff card, 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches (190 x 242 mm), initialled and numbered 5 from the [projected] edition of 50 (l.l.). Some overall oxidation (silvering) to tones, fading, probably from interaction with the adhesive of the mount, some foxing to the image evident in raking light, the verso of the mount exhibiting some foxing.
