LOT NOTES
The present lot, according to the artist's inscription on the verso label, dated June 6, 1954, is a study for Zwei Madchen (Two Girls), executed in Amden in 1946. Zwei Kopfe (Schwestern) is one of the earliest works by Baumeister to come to market.
