The 12" arched brass dial with gilt brass double screwed C scroll spandrels and solid applied silvered centre with Roman and Arabic numerals surrounding a subsidiary seconds dial, the arch having a matching calendar dial above a Strike/Not strike lever fronting a massive 6 pillar three train eight-day weight driven movement with deadbeat escapement and Harrison maintaining power striking the quarters on two bells and the hours on a larger bell,;the backplate with roller suspension block supporting a steel rod pendulum with brass bob and regulation nut, comes with original brass cased weights (230cm high to top of finial)
