THE SWIMMING BATH

watercolour, ink, chalk and charcoal on paper; squared for transfer
25.5 by 17.5cm.; 10 by 7in.
Executed circa 1929.

Condition Report:
The sheet has been squared for transfer. The sheet appears to be sound. The right hand edge of the sheet is slightly unevenly cut. The sheet undulates very slightly, in keeping with the Artist's materials and working methods. The sheet has been secured to the mount with adhesive along the upper edge. There are a number of Artist's pinholes to the extreme edges of the sheet, not visible in the present mount. There are a small number of scattered spots of foxing, most visible at the extreme edges and towards the lower edge. There is some very light surface dirt and studio detritus throughout. This excepting the work appears to be in good overall condition.

The sheet is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple gilded frame.
