Depicting a reclining female nude with two bacchantes. Artist's signature to the lower left. Frame measures H 22.5" x L 25.5". Dimensions: Condition Report: Scoville collection. As viewed under blacklight in the unopened frame: c. 7 to 18% spotty overpainting. Has craquelure and allegatoring of the paint. Not patched and appears not to lined (although the recto has a somewhat waxy finish to it. Original stretcher bars (one is sheared); antiqued cream frame is a well into the 20th c. product. Rf
