This is believed to have been given as a gift from Scott to the artist and printmaker Andy Hawkins in the 1970s.
This is a printer's proof from the early 1970s, before the image was released in a wider lithographic edition in 1975, printed by Curwen Studio, published for PSA Supplies Division by Edition Alecto Ltd, as a commission by the Department of the Environment, who issued it internally within government departments. As a gift, it is possible that the work was signed and dated at a later point.
