Straight grain walnut forend and straight grip buttstock with crescent steel trapdoor butt. Blued bbl. mag. tube & receiver. Case colored lever, hammer & buttplate. CONDITION: blued metal parts retain 30% original blue fading to brown with bright areas of blue in protected areas. Metal exhibits light high edge wear scattered minor dings and a light even freckling. Lever, hammer & buttplate retain traces of original case colors. Unsanded stock set has added layer of finish. Fair bore turning dark with scattered spots of pitting exhibits good rifling. Lever has slight hang up when closing, otherwise mechanically fine. (26-4232/BH). CURIO. $2,500-3,750.
