Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel trapdoor buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 4-piece cleaning rod stored in stock. Cody Firearms Museum letter stating the following information "Rifle / 38 caliber / Octagon barrel / Set trigger / Received in the warehouse on September 13, 1901 / Shipped from warehouse on September 14, 1901 With 1 other arm to order number 108732". CONDITION: bbl. retains 50% dull fading blue showing edge wear. Action & mag. tube have blue gray coloration from touch up finish. Stocks have worn finish showing dents, scratches & handling marks.
