Cal. 38 WCF. S# 142769A. Bbl. 24" oct. Full length mag. Sheard front sight, semi buckhorn rear sight, dust cover, firing pin, lever, lifter & some screws are modern replacements. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ replacement brass trapdoor buttplate. Stock is ornamented w/ a total of 60 brass tacks of various diameters. Forearm is held at front by leather thong. 1883 Mfg. CONDITION: bbl. & action have cleaned gray appearance showing areas of heavy pitting & numerous dents. Forearm has long chips missing along both sides w/ cracks, holes & smaller chips at front & rear areas. Stock is refinished & undersized showing numerous dents & handling marks. Dark pitted bore.
