Cal. 40-60 WCF. S# 55496. Bbl. 28" rnd. w/ sporting front sight & graduated leaf rear sight. Mag. is shortened to 1/2 length. Blue finished rifle w/ case colored hammer & lever. Single set trigger. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel trapdoor buttplate. 1885 Mfg. CONDITION: bbl. & action finish have faded to a pleasing brown patina showing some surface corrosion. Hammer & lever have faint traces of case colors. Lever latch is removed. Trigger is not adjusted to set properly. Stock & forearm have dark aged appearance showing dents & handling marks. Bore has intact rifling w/ a light shine showing some very light pitting. (01-17425/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,000.
