RIFLE. Cal. 33 WCF. S# 156659. Bbl. 24" tapered rnd. Ramp mounted Lyman front sight w/ broken bead. Lyman No. 6 folding rear sight w/ notched blade removed. "Climbin Lyman" No. 38 receiver sight w/ windage adj. screw & eyepiece removed. Half length takedown mag. Blue finish. Walnut forearm & pistol grip walnut stock featuring style I factory checkering. Hard rubber grip cap & crescent steel buttplate. Left inside of top tang & tang channel of stock has matching assembly # "973". Mfg. 1919. CONDITION: bbl. & action retain over 90% original blue showing sm. scratches & marks w/ fading on receiver extension & forearm cap. Unsanded stock shows added finish over scattered scratches & marks. Sound mechanics. Bore shows lightly worn rifling w/ sm. spots of pitting. (20-1774). CURIO. $4,000-5,000.
