Cal. 38 WCF. S# 884960. Bbl. 24" oct. w/ bead front sight & flat top sporting rear sight. Full length mag. Blue finish. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. 1919. CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube retain 60% dull fading blue showing spots of surface corrosion. Action retains sm. amounts of blue in protected areas w/ balance fading to a mottled brown gray patina. Sanded & refinished forearm shows wear w/ numerous scratches, dents & handling marks. Stock has oil darkened appearance w/ worn finish, numerous dents & scratches having a sm. chips around action & at toe. Bore retains sound rifling showing scattered light pitting. (20-570/DS).
