Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). S# 7223. Bbl. 24" oct. w/ thinned & lowered sporting front sight & elevator adj. sporting rear sight. Full length mag. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate. Produced in 1892, first year of mfg. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to gray showing scattered light pitting w/ scratches & handling marks having heavier wrench marks at breech end of bbl. Wood has dark worn appearance w/ scratches & marks. Bore retains intact rifling showing scattered pitting in grooves. (01-18968/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,000-1,500.
