Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). S# 15223. Bbl. 24" rnd. w/ Marbles replacement bead front sight, sporting rear sight altered to flat top configuration & combination tang sight. Full length mag. Blue finish w/ case colored hammer & lever. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate. Produced 1892, first year of mfg. CONDITION: bbl., mag. tube, action & fittings retain 70% dull blue fading to brown showing scattered sm. marks & spots of freckling. Wood has age darkened appearance showing wear w/ scattered scratches, marks & sm. dents. Very good bright bore retaining sound rifling. (01-18969/DS). ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,500.
