Cal. 44 WCF. S# 775688. Bbl. 20" carbine style. Replacement pinned blade bead front sight w/ replacement Marbles full buckhorn sporting rear sight. Blued action w/ case colored lever & hammer having saddle ring on left side. Gumwood carbine stock & forearm w/ crescent steel buttplate. 1915 Mfg. CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube retain 80% dull lightly faded blue showing scattered freckling w/ sm. dents around rear sight. Action retains traces of blue in protected areas w/ balance fading to gray. Hammer & lever retain traces of lightly visible case colors. Wood has worn original finish showing numerous heavy dents, scratches & handling marks w/ lg. chip right of top tang. Bore is generally bright w/ sound rifling having sm. spots of light pitting. (20-676/DS). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
