Cal. 38-55. S# 358218. Bbl. 26" rnd. Bead front sight w/ flat top sporting rear sight. Full length mag. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate. CONDITION: bbl. blue is fading to brown showing spots of light pitting. Mag. retains 80% lightly faded blue. Action shows areas of dull blue fading to mottled patina. Sanded & refinished wood shows numerous scratches & handling marks. Buttstock has sm. crack extending from right side of buttplate w/ area of epoxy fill right of top tang. Tang plug screw is removed. Sight elevator is a replacement. Bore is bright w/ sound rifling. (20-722/DS). CURIO. $700-1,000.
