Cal. 38-55. S# 222279. Bbl. 20" w/ pinned blade front sight & carbine leaf rear sight. Full length mag. Blue finish w/ case colored hammer & lever. Left side of action has stud only for saddle ring. Long style walnut forearm & straight grip carbine stock w/ steel carbine buttplate. Left side of receiver is stamped "DOC. / & / Co.". Right side of action & floorplate forward of lever has matching "DOC." marking. 1901 Mfg. CONDITION: bbl., mag. tube & action retain 70% dull lightly faded blue showing areas of surface corrosion & handling marks. Sanded & refinished wood shows scratches, dents & marks. Forearm has crack extending from mag. band to tip. Bore is generally bright w/ sound rifling. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Gary Parietti. (21-1654/DS). CURIO. $700-1,100.
