Cal. 44-40. S# 84928. Bbl. 24" oct., w/ full mag. Dovetail rocking mnt. front sight w/ dovetail adj. rear sight. Uncheckered forend. Uncheckered straight grip stock. Crescent steel buttplate w/ trapdoor that contains 4 piece steel cleaning rod w/ brass tip. CONDITION: bbl. has original blue, slightly fading & blending w/ patina & sharp edge wear. Mag. tube is thinning on bottom & blending w/ brown patina. Receiver has good, original blue w/ wear on sharp edges. Forend has original finish w/ hand worn patina, nicks & scratches. Stock has some original finish w/ hand wear in grip area, some nicks & gouges. Bore is good w/ some scattered pits. (01-17899/BT). ANTIQUE. $3,500-4,500.
