Cal. 38 WCF. S# 246647B. Bbl. 24" oct. Full mag. Dovetail blade front sight & dovetail adj. rear sight. Top tang is equipped w/ a Lyman folding adj. peep sight. Uncheckered forend. Uncheckered straight grip stock. Steel crescent buttplate w/ trapdoor that contains 4 piece steel cleaning rod w/ brass tip. CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube retain good original blue w/ a couple sm. spots of surface oxidation. Receiver has original blue mixed w/ fine surface oxidation w/ wear on sharp edges. Forend has original finish blending w/ hand worn patina, nicks & scratches. Buttstock has added coat of light finish w/ wear in grip area & minor scratches. Each side of top part of buttplate is darkened. Bore is dark w/ scattered fine pitting. (01-17904/BT). ANTIQUE. $3,500-5,000.
