RIFLE. Cal. 32-40. S# 924. Bbl. 26" rnd. Original sporting front sight & elevator adj. semi buckhorn rear sight. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate. 1894 Mfg., first year of production. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to a mottled gray brown patina showing some surface corrosion & light scratches. Stock & forearm are heavily sanded w/ an old refinish showing age darkening w/ wear, scratches & handling marks. Dark bore w/ worn rifling having a sm. ring about 6" from the muzzle. (01-17432/DS).
