Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate missing trapdoor. Right side of forearm has carved initial "M". Mfg. 1881. CONDITION: metal has mottled brown patina appearance w/ scattered light pitting & marks. Wood has worn appearance showing scattered dents, scratches & marks. Forearm has lg. chips & cracks along bbl. channel & action. Stock is missing chips along left side of lower tang. Heavy pitted bore. (01-18903/DS). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
