Model 1873 has an octagonal barrel, 24" L with iron sights, having walnut stock and forearm. Steel butt plate, 15 round tubular magazine. Sliding brass dust cap above the breech. Serial number 351077B dates the rifle to 1890. Marked on top of the barrel 'Winchester's Repeating Arms New Haven, Conn., U.S.A. King's Improvement Patented March 29, 1866 - Oct. 16, 1860". Soft case with damage to zipper (as is).
