Cal. 22 S, L, LR. S# 344937. Bbl. 24 1/8". Model 61 slide action rifle mfg. by Winchester circa. 1963. The left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with the receiver and mag. tube having been refinished at one time. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock with grooved pump. Aftermarket ramped blade front sight. Right side of receiver has been drilled and tapped for a Williams aperture rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their blue finish exhibiting some wear, with some scattered superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, with some flaking to their varnish finish, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
