Cal. 32 WCF. S# 623484. Bbl. 22" tapered rnd. replacement of Stainless Steel w/ Japan Black finish marked "MODEL 53". Top of bbl. has circle "P" parts proof mark & standard "WP" proof mark. Ramp mounted blade front sight, no provision for rear sight w/ Marbles combination tang sight. 2/3 Length mag. Model 92 action mfg. in 1911. Stainless Steel bbls. were offered by Win. for $9 extra, 1925-1928. Walnut forearm. Model 92 walnut stock w/ crescent steel buttplate, comb area is reshaped w/ deep flutes. CONDITION: bbl. retains 30% Japan Black finish. Action is fading to gray w/ some blue in protected areas. Sanded & refinished wood shows numerous scratches, dents & marks. Stock has sm. crack at toe.
