Cal. 32 W.S. (Spl.). S# 988365. Bbl. 20” w/ ladder carbine rear sight & pin retained front post blade. Mfg. 1926 w/ saddle ring stud on receiver & carbine buttstock; long wood forend. Top tang marked “MODEL 94” (not 1894). Bbl. marked “MODEL 94” plus “NICKEL STEEL”. Rectangular border checkered panel on hammer. CONDITION: good general overall appearance w/ patina in receiver area & on buttplate. Rub marks on high points of bbl. bands. Sm. areas of peppery oxidation on bbl. & mag. tube w/ beginning patina on bottom of mag. tube. Stock set w/ light handling marks plus hunting kill notches; 8 at toe near butt plus 2 at front of comb. Fair to good bore w/ slight wear & cleaned even light pitting. Missing saddle ring, base remains. (20-373/NW). CURIO. $600-900.
