W. J. Alberts Amsterdam 1912-1990 Wezep A beautiful large forest view with cows, in good condition, by the well-known painter W. J. Albert . The painter Willem Jacobus Alberts was born on October 21, 1912 in Amsterdam. He worked for a large part of his life in his hometown, and also in Oldebroek and Wezep. This pupil of Minne Bakker exchanged the big city for the province in the 1960s. There he found his inspiration for his paintings and watercolors. Alberts applied himself with great success to creating landscapes (forests and meadows) and cows, sheep and horses. Furthermore, church interiors, some still lifes, flower arrangements and animals by his hand are known. He painted in a naturalistic and impressionistic style.
