RARE 106-PIECE HOUSEHOLD - “’ROME” BY WMF

A magnificent cutlery in excellent condition including 106 silver-plated table and serving cutlery from the famous German brand WMF, designed by Kurt Mayer.

This set includes:

12 tablespoons, length about 20 cm, weight about 837 grams,
12 table forks, length approximately 20 cm, weight approximately 716 grams,
12 table knives, length approximately 22½ cm, weight approximately 742 grams,

12 dessert/breakfast forks, length approximately 16 cm, weight approximately 385 grams,
12 dessert/breakfast knives, length approximately 16½ cm, weight approximately 358 grams,

6 fish forks, length about 18 cm, weight about 233 grams,
6 fish knives, length approximately 20 cm, weight approximately 263 grams.

12 teaspoons, length about 14 cm, weight about 314 grams,
12 espresso spoons, length approximately 11 cm, weight approximately 160 grams,

10 serving cutlery, length ranging from 12 to 30 cm, weight approximately 732 grams.

Heavy quality, in very good condition and with a beautiful shine.
The cutlery pieces are marked "90" which means 90 grams of silver to silver each set of 12 cutlery.

The stainless steel knife blades bear the WMF ZWILING and FRIODSUR logos. They are made of ice-tempered FRIODUR steel which ensures that the blade remains hard, resistant, sharp and flexible.

A blade has a (manufacturing) defect that can probably be remedied by having it sharpened
