The letter, declining to write to General [David Prescott] Barrows to commend him because he was only doing what he thought was right. 1 page, 4to, "Office of the Commanding General" stationery; horizontal folds, faint scattered staining. With the original postmarked envelope, additionally signed with Patton's censor signature. "APO 403" [Namur, Belgium], 2 January 1945
