WW1 German Pioneers Sawback Mauser 98/05 Bayonet

WW1 German Pioneers Sawback Mauser 98/05 Bayonet, fine example with two piece wooden grips, steel pommel and cross guard. Housed in black painted steel scabbard with a 1916 dated black leather frog attached. The frog has an original bayonet troddel (knot) attached. Swollen blade with fuller and sawback to the back edge of the blade. Spine with crowned acceptance stamp. Blade made by ‘H. MUNDLOS & Co MAGDEBURG’. Some wear to the blade but generally a very good example.
