£100

WW1, Great War, British 14 Pattern Webbing Haversack. A good example of the British 14 Pattern webbing equipment haversack. Standard construction, khaki webbing material with leather tabs and rounded brass buckles as seen throughout the 14 pattern design. The haversack is showing signs of age related wear and soiling. The leather components are showing some spits but all the buckles are present. The two leather tabs which fasten the lid appear to be good replacements/repair. A later service number of '14730469' and the name 'Leath. W. E' can be seen to the interior. Generally a good example with some fragile leather. The Late Richard Archer Collection.
