WW1 Great War, British 1914 Pattern Leather Entrenching Tool Carrier. An example of the 1914 pattern webbing equipment entrenching tool cover, which is believed to be an exceptionally good reproduction. Constructed in a heavy grain leather with correct rivet/stitch construction with brass 14 pattern buckles. Good solid condition and date stamped to the rear 'G R ltd, 1915'. An original 1918 entrenching tool head accompanies the cover, as well as the helve handle. Age related wear. Good displayable item or gap filler. The Late Richard Archer Collection.
