WW1 REMINGTON US 1917 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

Cal. 30-06. S# 222815. Bbl. 26" mfg. by Johnson Automatics. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Ladder aperture rear sight graduated to 1600yds. Bolt is of Remington mfg. & other parts are mostly of Eddystone mfg. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock set w/ bottom mounted sling swivels. No stacking hook present. Left side of stock has three US arsenal overhaul markings. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework type finish w/ a small crack behind upper tang, the letters "PB" lightly carved on left side of butt, scattered dings & handling wear. Metal retains 60% arsenal parkerized finish w/ scattered oxidation, fading & thinning. Worn bore w/ scattered notable pitting & some oxidation. (24-1568/MJC). CURIO. $700-900.
