WW1 S 71 COMBAT BAYONET WITH ENGRAVED BAYONET
(Seitengewehr) A model 1871 bayonet, adopted by the armies of Prussia, Saxony, Württemberg and Bavaria in 1872, with its original scabbard. Nice complete example. Clean blade is double engraved (WKC) and good solid scabbard. Although considered obsolete by 1900, the S 71 was used by both the reserves and the "Landwehr" during the First World War.
