WW1 US Army Ordnance Uniform including 1) Jacket. A high quality, olive drab, M1912 wool whipcord tunic, with a stand-up collar fastened by two hooks and eyes. The four front patch pockets have button down scalloped flaps. The five large front closure buttons, and the four small pocket and two small shoulder strap buttons, are all embossed with an American eagle. To the right side of the stand-up collar is a 2.5cm diameter bronze disk with "U.S." embossed against a cross-hatched background. It is mounted to its reverse by a screw-back post. To the left side of the collar is a disk in the same material and dimensions, upon which is embossed the insignia for the US Ordnance that is also mounted to its reverse by a screw-back post. There is a single blue chevron indicating Stateside service and his red discharge stripe. The tunic is fully lined and in very good condition. 2) Wool Breeches. A pair of coarse wool trousers with a button fly. The legs taper just below the knee. A small slash pocket is situated to the right side of the waistband and as well two hip pockets are present that can be opened by small bakelite buttons to the corners (the left bakelite button is missing). Two rear pockets are also present with scalloped flaps and bakelite buttons. Seven wool belt loops extend the exterior of the waistband. The trousers are unlined. The waist measures approximately 33" with a 26" inseam. 3) Wool Greatcoat. Wool is in excellent condition with matching overseas chevron and discharge stripe. 4) Wool Puttees 5) Canvas Puttees 6) Overseas caps, one with Ordnance insignia.
