WW2 British POW, Photograph Album and Ephemera. A good grouping including a photograph album and related ephemera to a POW, '20725 Sapper Robert Gordon Hunter, Royal Engineers. He would be captured after the fall of France in 1940 and spent his time in captivity including the camp Stalag VIIIB. The album contains photos of France, likely prior to the war including shots of the Vimy Ridge memorial and Great War trenches. The following shots show his time in captivity including group photos and activities such as plays etc. A selection paperwork and related items includes, a copy of 'The Prisoner of War' newsletter, letters from the BRCS, the card lid of a prisoners parcel as supplied by the British Red Cross Organization. The lid has been flattened to display. Three German propaganda drop leaflets, 'Every Soldiers Problem' and 'Is there no way out of it'. Nice little grouping. some age related wear and tear.
