WW2 COLT MODEL 1911-A1 PISTOL 1943 MFG

SERIAL NUMBER 891923 BARREL 5" CALIBER .45 ACP MANUFACTURED 1943. Produced by Colt at the Height of the War production inn 1943 with Parkerized finish, checkered brown plastic Keyes pattern grips. Blue finished barrel marked "COLT 45 AUTO" on left side above trunnion. Short checkered milled trigger Wide checkered colt hammer and checkered arched mainspring housing. checkered safety and checkered slide release. Frame inspected (G.H.D.) George H Drewry inspector on left side with "P" proof inspection at magazine release and on top of slide forward of rear sight. Standard Colt slide address with Rampant Colt in Center. CONDITION, Very fine with most all parkerized finish remaining, Good bore with darkness in grooves. Action operates properly. C&R
