WW2 GERMAN (DUV44) G43 SEMI AUTO RIFLE.
Cal. 8x57. S# 342g. Bbl. 21 3/4". Standard G43 sights with no hood present on front. Matching numbers on receiver, stock, bolt carrier, bolt, firing pin housing, extractor & both locking lugs. Other parts appear unnumbered. Metal is a mix of phosphate & blued finishes. Laminated stock with durofol handguard. Right side of stock has partially faded "214" inspection stamps. Leather sling present. No cleaning rod present. MAGS: 1-10 rd. "aye" coded & "K43" marked. CONDITION: lightly refinished stock has added finish with a couple deep scratches on right side, two small vacant holes on left side, some dings & handling marks. Bottom of action cover has a small crack below hole. Metal otherwise retains 75% original blue & phosphate with some chipping on top of action cover, scattered thinning, oxidation, edge wear & fading to gray. Bore shows some scattered frosting & light pitting but strong rifling. (26-4187/MJC). CURIO. $2500-3500.
