WW2 German Fallschirmjager Camouflage, Wire Helmet

World War Two German Luftwaffe Fallschirmjager M1938 single decal helmet. Stamped steel construction with rolled rim and four machined spanner bolts. Sprayed three-color "Normandy" pattern camouflage paint with over painted but visible 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal. Helmet crown with chicken wire basket. Interior with padding and leather liner marked in ink, "Baumuster: Heisler Berlin C2 Hersteller: F. W. Muller jr" and "Kopfweite Gr. 59 Stahlheim Gr. 71" Dark grey adjustable leather chinstrap with button closure. Interior rim stamped "711" and "ET71". Good field worn condition with wear and scattered oxidation.
