World War Two German Gendarmerie Officer M1938 uniform. (1) Service Tunic, insignia denotes rank of Meister. Constructed of quality blue wool with orange piped cuffs and collar with four pocket and eight button front closure with vented back. Interior silk lined with ink stamp, "Der Uniformscneider Marecek Schweinfurt a. Main". Insignia includes: orange piped brown checked braided silver bullion sewn shoulder boards, bullion piped orange and bullion collar litzen, Polizei shoulder patch "Wurzburg" and four piece ribbon bar. Excellent condition with light wear. (1) Matching slacks constructed of quality blue wool with orange piped legs, slash pocket button fly front with adjustment tabs and single back pocket. Interior partial twill lining with "1938" date stamped in ink. Excellent condition with light wear.
