World War Two German Heer Artillery Officer visor cap. Quality grey-green wool construction with dark green band, red piping, and black lacquered vulcanfibre visor. Braided silver bullion adjustable chinstrap secured by two magnetic pebbled buttons. Insignia includes: Die struck metal eagle over metal cockade with silver bullion thread wreath. Interior lined with gold silk / rayon with "58" size stamp in ink and leather sweat band. Good field worn condition with wear, small tears to interior sweat band.
