World War Two German Heer Chaplain Officer visor cap. Quality grey-green wool construction with dark green band, purple piping, and black lacquered vulcanfibre visor. Braided silver bullion adjustable chinstrap secured by two magnetic pebbled buttons. Insignia includes: Die struck metal eagle over metal cockade with silvered metal wreath with additional small silvered metal cross. Interior lined with gold silk / rayon with celluloid sweat diamond maker signed "Hut Mayer Neuotting" and leather sweat band. Excellent field worn condition with light wear.
